It was indeed a joyful occasion as Muslims across the country marked Eid el-Kabir with prayers, celebrations, and a renewed sense of devotion.
In Taraba State, the Malam Joda Eid ground witnessed a massive turnout of worshippers who gathered in peace and unity to observe the annual festival.
At the Malam Joda Eid ground, thousands of Muslim faithful gathered early in the morning to observe the two raka’at Eid prayer, marking the climax of the Eid el-Kabir festivities.
The prayer was led by the Chief Imam, Malam Nuruddeen Muhammad Dinga, who urged the Muslim Ummah to uphold the values of sacrifice, humility, and obedience as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him).
The occasion was graced by several prominent dignitaries.
In attendance was the Emir of Muri, His Royal Highness Alhaji Abbas Njidda Tafida, who joined the congregation in prayer.
Also present was Honorable Sadiq Abbas Tafida, member representing Jalingo Yorro Zing Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, along with former Minister of Power, Engr. Saleh Mamman, The Chairman Jalingo Local government area Aminu Jauro Hassan Among others.
The event was marked by a sense of peace, community, and devotion as families came together in celebration.
Many worshippers expressed gratitude for the opportunity to witness another Eid, praying for peace and progress in the state and the nation at large.
