Taraba State Mourns Passing of Abuja Liaison Office Permanent Secretary

Taraba State has announced the passing of Mr. Dauda Maikomo, the Permanent Secretary of the state’s Abuja liaison office.

Mr. Maikomo died on Tuesday, June 11, following a brief illness.In an official statement issued by the Head of Civil Service, Dr. Hamidu Ahmed Kara, the government expressed deep sorrow over the loss and paid tribute to Mr. Maikomo’s years of dedicated service to the state and the nation.

“Mr. Dauda Maikomo was a dedicated public servant who made invaluable contributions to the Taraba State Government and the country. His leadership, vision, and commitment will be deeply missed,” the statement read.

On behalf of Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas, the government extended condolences to Mr. Maikomo’s family, friends, and colleagues, describing his passing as a significant loss to the state.

According to the statement, a state burial will be held in his honour, with the date to be announced by the family.
