
The member representing Bali/Gassol Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ja’afaru Yakubu Ciroma, has launched a massive empowerment programme in Bali Local Government Area of Taraba State.
The well-attended event saw the distribution of numerous items aimed at improving healthcare delivery, agricultural productivity, transportation, and youth development across the constituency.
Among the items distributed were 23 mini ambulances for Primary Health Care Centres, 80 motorcycles, 20 cars, and essential hospital equipment. Farmers in the area also benefitted from agricultural support tools including mini tractors, solar and gas-powered water pumps.
To support religious institutions, solar inverters were donated to various mosques and churches. In the area of youth development, football teams across the constituency received sports jerseys.
A major highlight of the event was the commissioning of a 10,000-capacity solar-powered overhead water borehole, expected to significantly improve access to clean water in the area.
In a rare gesture of community support, Hon. Ciroma also donated cars to be used for cemetery services.
The lawmaker reaffirmed his commitment to the development of Bali and Gassol communities, pledging to continue initiating impactful projects that would uplift the lives of his constituents.
